THE LAST CONVINCING ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ALLAH
By Dr Salama Abd-Alhady
In A verse of the Quran, We read this warning announcement:014.052
YUSUFALI: Here is an announcement for mankind: Let them take warning there from, and let them know that He is (no other than) One Allah: let men of understanding take heed.
PICKTHAL: This is a clear message for mankind in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is only One Allah, and that men of understanding may take heed.
SHAKIR: This is a sufficient exposition for the people and that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is One Allah and that those possessed of understanding may mind. Such announcement is a warning that bears existence of one God who should be obeyed and a day of resurrection which should be expected. As a convincing proof, we can read in Quran: 004.174
YUSUFALI: O mankind! verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: For We have sent unto you a light (that is) manifest.
PICKTHAL: O mankind! Now hath a convincing proof from your Lord come unto you, and We have sent down unto you a clear light;
SHAKIR: O people! surely there has come to you a manifest proof from your Lord and We have sent to you clear light. The PROOFs are:1. No one has claimed since Mohammed up to now that He is a Prophet or messenger from God, according to this verse:033.040
YUSUFALI: Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.
PICKTHAL: Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah is ever Aware of all things.
SHAKIR: Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Last of the prophets; and Allah is cognizant of all things. 2. No one has gotten a proof, a Miraculous Book, as the HOLY QURAN since Mohammed. In the Quran, God has challenged all mankind with all their literary geniuses and scientists, from the first day of its revelation to the Last Day, to produce a like of it:017.088
YUSUFALI: Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.
PICKTHAL: Say: Verily, though mankind and the jinn should assemble to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof though they were helpers one of another.
SHAKIR: Say: If men and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this Quran, they could not bring the like of it, though some of them were aiders of others.3. No one has a Miraculous Life as a Perfect Model or Pattern for the whole Humanity which is known in details as Mohammed (in the books of “Sunna”). 033.021
YUSUFALI: Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.
PICKTHAL: Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and the Last Day, and remembereth Allah much.
SHAKIR: Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much. 4. No one has miraculous speeches which are written in details as Mohammed (the books of “Hadith”).053.003
YUSUFALI: Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. It is no less than inspiration sent down to him. : He was taught by one Mighty in Power,
PICKTHAL: Nor doth he speak of (his own) desire. It is naught save an inspiration that is inspired, Which one of mighty powers hath taught him,
SHAKIR: Nor does he speak out of desire. Which one of mighty powers hath taught him, The Lord of Mighty Power has taught him, 5. No one as Mohammed can succeed in establishing the community of God and the golden age of Islam on the earth, that have continued up to now, in his message’s life that lasts only twenty three years.003.110
YUSUFALI: Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.
PICKTHAL: Ye are the best community that hath been raised up for mankind. Ye enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah. And if the People of the Scripture had believed it had been better for them. Some of them are believers; but most of them are evil-livers.
SHAKIR: You are the best of the nations raised up for (the benefit of) men; you enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and believe in Allah; and if the followers of the Book had believed it would have been better for them; of them (some) are believers and most of them are transgressors.MAIN PROOF: The HOLY QURAN: Out of 330733 Arabic letters, each letter of the Arabic alphabetic can have 7 different pronunciations , is formed 77845 words in the Koran, a word can be only one letter or up to 8 letters. Out of these 77845 words are formed 8972 verses of the Koran where a verse can be only a word or up to 125 words. Of theses 8972 verses are formed 114 surahs or chapters, where a surah may be 3 verses or 286 verses. These surahs are written in books of average number of 700 pages, each page of 125 words or 12 verses in average. All these words, verses, surahs or pages form a homogeneous miraculous unity. For those who read the Quran and are capable of understanding its meanings, they feel that it is written as one unity, by one writer, in one session and for a specific mission; to guide and lead people to a balanced and objective life. The surahs are arranged in this book in an order that can be only specified by God of Infinite wise, where each surah has a heavenly smell and spirit, one rhythm and music, one goal and style, etc. The Quran is the only book which can be read from both sides, for the beginners who starts by keeping it by heart starts from the short surahs at the end and step by step their capabilities for keeping by heart grow up and at the end he can keep by heart all surahs. For adults who can read the Quran in one day, he can start by reading firstly the large surahs in the start and end by short ones. The start to the end in both directions has unlimited logic and systematic arrangement. Its easiness to be kept by heart by a child of no more than ten years old, even it is so long represents a miracle. It is divided into 30 parts; each part is divided into 4 subdivisions. You may find a story as viewed in one surah and completed in other surahs, and in each case its parts are in homogeneity with the concerned point of view of a specific surah to show a value in the God’s Wisdom, God’s Justice or a specific point of view according to its location in such specific surah. As each Surah has its own objective, atmosphere, logic, approach, arrangement, rhythm, proverbs, and conclusion, you may conclude from each story in a specified place certain divine rules for punishment or helping or a model answer for the man’ anxiety. In the Quran, God has challenged all mankind with all their literary geniuses and scientists, from the first day of its revelation to the Last Day, to write 10 of its surahs (chapters):011.013
YUSUFALI: Or they may say, "He forged it," Say, "Bring ye then ten suras forged, like unto it, and call (to your aid) whomsoever ye can, other than Allah!- If ye speak the truth!
PICKTHAL: Or they say: He hath invented it. Say: Then bring ten surahs, the like thereof, invented, and call on everyone ye can beside Allah, if ye are truthful!
SHAKIR: Or, do they say: He has forged it. Say: Then bring ten forged chapters like it and call upon whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.Or even only ONE of its surahs:002.023
YUSUFALI: And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true.
PICKTHAL: And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful.
SHAKIR: And if you are in doubt as to that which We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a chapter like it and call on your witnesses besides Allah if you are truthful.010.038
YUSUFALI: Or do they say, "He forged it"? say: "Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!"
PICKTHAL: Or say they: He hath invented it? Say: Then bring a surah like unto it, and call (for help) on all ye can besides Allah, if ye are truthful.
SHAKIR: Or do they say: He has forged it? Say: Then bring a chapter like this and invite whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.
