We, as humans, are gifted a treasure of infinite value in our bodies. We have in our bodies a breath from the Great Creator of such universe which is called the “Soul.”  The human who believes the Greatness of His Creator will realize the value of such soul or treasure. It is the treasure of wisdom and knowledge. It is God’s light in our human bodies. God described His light in Quran by the following verse:

024.035
YUSUFALI: Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.
PICKTHAL: Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The similitude of His light is as a niche wherein is a lamp. The lamp is in a glass. The glass is as it were a shining star. (This lamp is) kindled from a blessed tree, an olive neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself) though no fire touched it. Light upon light. Allah guideth unto His light whom He will. And Allah speaketh to mankind in allegories, for Allah is Knower of all things.
SHAKIR: Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth; a likeness of His light is as a niche in which is a lamp, the lamp is in a glass, (and) the glass is as it were a brightly shining star, lit from a blessed olive-tree, neither eastern nor western, the oil whereof almost gives light though fire touch it not-- light upon light-- Allah guides to His light whom He pleases, and Allah sets forth parables for men, and Allah is Cognizant of all things.

So, this light in our bodies guides us to God’s Light. The value of this light or treasure in our bodies is determined by our Will to learn, achieve, correctly decide, govern, control, upper hand, think, mind, love, recognize, sympathize, bless, express, and perform infinite number of functions that suit our gifted humanity. Who will recognize the value of this treasure will be able to live a valuable life of dignity and respect that is directed to glorify its source; Allah. And that human who ignores the value of this treasure or his gifted soul: he will have a valueless life that fears death and poverty. Such a life will be similar to the life of any insect on the earth. The Quran tells us that God distinguishes the human beings by such breath or soul in the following verses:
032.007-009
YUSUFALI: He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay And made his progeny from a quintessence of the nature of a fluid despised:, But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him something of His spirit.  And He made his progeny from a quintessence of the nature of a fluid despised.

PICKTHAL: Who made all things good which He created, and He began the creation of man from clay; Then He made his seed from a draught of despised fluid; And He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (and understanding): little thanks do ye give!  Then He fashioned him and breathed into him of His Spirit; and appointed for you hearing and sight and hearts. Small thanks give ye!

SHAKIR: Who made good everything that He has created, and He began the creation of man from dust. : Then He made his progeny of an extract, of water held in light estimation. Then He made him complete and breathed into him of His spirit, and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks.

So, such gifted soul is the centre of the Greatness of the human beings. God asked the angels to kneel in respect to Adam after he gifted him such a Breath. As the following verses inform, God’s Breath, or the Human’s soul, gave Adam the ability to learn and analyze what God’s allowed to know:

015.029 -030
YUSUFALI: "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: : Then He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: "Tell me the names of these if ye are right." They said: "Glory to Thee, of knowledge We have none, save what Thou Hast taught us: In truth it is Thou Who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom." He said: "O Adam! Tell them their names." When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?" And behold, We said to the angels: "Bow down to Adam" and they bowed down. Not so Iblis: he refused and was haughty: He was of those who reject Faith.

PICKTHAL: So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him. So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together. And He taught Adam all the names, then showed them to the angels, saying: Inform Me of the names of these, if ye are truthful. They said: Be glorified! We have no knowledge saving that which Thou hast taught us. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Knower, the Wise. : He said: O Adam! Inform them of their names, and when he had informed them of their names, He said: Did I not tell you that I know the secret of the heavens and the earth? And I know that which ye disclose and which ye hide. And when We said unto the angels: Prostrate yourselves before Adam, they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He demurred through pride, and so became a disbeliever.

SHAKIR: So when I have made him complete and breathed into him o. f My spirit, fall down making obeisance to him. So the angels made obeisance, all of them together. And He taught Adam all the names, then presented them to the angels; then He said: Tell me the names of those if you are right. They said: Glory be to Thee! we have no knowledge but that which Thou hast taught us; surely Thou art the Knowing, the Wise. : He said: O Adam! inform them of their names. Then when he had informed them of their names, He said: Did I not say to you that I surely know what is ghaib in the heavens and the earth and (that) I know what you manifest and what you hide? And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam they did obeisance, but Iblis (did it not). He refused and he was proud, and he was one of the unbelievers.
Such soul is the focus of commissioning the Human Beings the trust to be responsible to take the decision: obeying the God or obeying an evil. The Quran states such responsibility in the following verse:

033.072
YUSUFALI: We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man undertook it;- He was indeed unjust and foolish;-
PICKTHAL: Lo! We offered the trust unto the heavens and the earth and the hills, but they shrank from bearing it and were afraid of it. And man assumed it. Lo! he hath proved a tyrant and a fool.
SHAKIR: Surely We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to be unfaithful to it and feared from it, and man has turned unfaithful to it; surely he is unjust, ignorant;

According to the previous verses, the value of our treasures grows by improving our abilities to learn and gain knowledge. That is why the first revealed word in the Quran from God to Mohammed was: READ.
096.001
YUSUFALI: Read in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-
PICKTHAL: Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth,
SHAKIR: Read in the name of your Lord Who created.

When Michel Hart, an American non-Muslim author, wrote his book about the greatest hundred men who has the greatest influence in the history, He found Mohamed as the greatest one. So, Mohamed was the model for a man who knows the value of this treasure through the full obedience to God’s teachings in Quran. Such fact is stated in the following verse of Quran:
033.021
YUSUFALI: Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.
PICKTHAL: Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example (model) for him who looketh unto Allah and the Last Day, and remembereth Allah much.
SHAKIR: Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much.
Reading is the main step to gain knowledge and sciences by our gifted souls. According to fulfilling the Quran’s first order to read and learn, Muslims initiated the golden age of sciences in the history and started the road map of humanity to knowledge. The History mentioned also Great Muslim leaders and prophets who glorified the value of their gifted treasures as Abram, Moses, Jesus, Abu-Bakr, Omar Ibn Al-khattab, Ibn khaldun, Ibn seeren, Ibn Teemeh, Ibn-Rushd, Salah El-Din, …
Those represents also clear models for those who represent other models of men who recognized the values of such treasures according to the following verses:
060.004 - 006
YUSUFALI: There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: "We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred for ever,- unless ye believe in Allah and Him alone": But not when Abraham said to his father: "I will pray for forgiveness for thee, though I have no power (to get) aught on thy behalf from Allah." (They prayed): "Our Lord! in Thee do we trust, and to Thee do we turn in repentance: to Thee is (our) Final Goal. Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord! for Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise." There was indeed in them an excellent example for you to follow,- for those whose hope is in Allah and in the Last Day. But if any turn away, truly Allah is Free of all Wants, Worthy of all Praise.

PICKTHAL: There is a goodly pattern for you in Abraham and those with him, when they told their folk: Lo! we are guiltless of you and all that ye worship beside Allah. We have done with you. And there hath arisen between us and you hostility and hate for ever until ye believe in Allah only - save that which Abraham promised his father (when he said): I will ask forgiveness for thee, though I own nothing for thee from Allah - Our Lord! In Thee we put our trust, and unto Thee we turn repentant, and unto Thee is the journeying. Our Lord! Make us not a prey for those who disbelieve, and forgive us, our Lord! Lo! Thou, only Thou, are the Mighty, the Wise. Verily ye have in them a goodly pattern for everyone who looketh to Allah and the Last Day. And whosoever may turn away, lo! still Allah, He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.

SHAKIR: Indeed, there is for you a good example in Ibrahim and those with him when they said to their people: Surely we are clear of you and of what you serve besides Allah; we declare ourselves to be clear of you, and enmity and hatred have appeared between us and you forever until you believe in Allah alone-- but not in what Ibrahim said to his father: I would certainly ask forgiveness for you, and I do not control for you aught from Allah-- Our Lord! on Thee do we rely, and to Thee do we turn, and to Thee is the eventual coming: Our Lord! do not make us a trial for those who disbelieve, and forgive us, our Lord! surely Thou art the Mighty, the Wise. : Certainly there is for you in them a good example, for him who fears Allah and the last day; and whoever turns back, then surely Allah is the Self-sufficient, the Praised.
God introduces in the Quran scientific signs as a guide to know Him. Who are interested to look at these scientific signs may see this website: www.55a.net. The scientific signs in the following verses are directed to people who glorify their treasures and have such scientific thinking to recognize the wisdom and greatness of the Creator in us and in the universe.

091.001 - 010
I (God) swear by the sun and its sacrifice (by bleeding light and energy to its solar group), and by the moon when it follows the sun’s brilliance (by reflecting the sun’s emissions of light), and by the Day’s light when it shows up the sun’s glory (by reflecting its rays in the atmosphere), and the night (darkness) as it enshrouds the sun (permanently), and by the heaven and Him (God) Who built it (as a wonderful structure), and by the earth and Him Who rolled it (regularly and perfectly), and by the Nafs (the soul and the man’s instinct)  and Him Who balanced it (the influence of its counterparts), [testament of His swore]: He will succeed Who will glorifies the soul’s value and purifies it, and He will fail Who disappointed its value and corrupts it.
In these scientific verses; God swears by His undeniable signs in the universe how those who can recognize the value of their gifted treasures will succeed and those who ignore them will fail. Such verse guides also to other facts. Who will really identify the value of such a treasure; He will not have only a successful life on the earth but he will have also the complete success in another eternal life after the earth’s life. And who ignores the value such a treasure; he will live a valueless life on the earth and a very unpleasant eternal life after death on the earth.
The Quran identifies also the greatness of those who devote their lives to learn and gain the scientific knowledge and knew how this science paves a way to increase the value of their gifted treasure:
039.009
YUSUFALI: Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord - (like one who does not)? Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.
PICKTHAL: Is he who payeth adoration in the watches of the night, prostrate and standing, bewaring of the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, (to be accounted equal with a disbeliever)? Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Are those who know equal with those who know not? But only men of understanding will pay heed.
SHAKIR: What! he who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, takes care of the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his Lord! Say: Are those who know and those who do not know alike? Only the men of understanding are mindful.
However, it is possible to find in the following verses how the Quran describes the value of science to who glorifies their souls and their Creator:
010.005
YUSUFALI: It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand.
PICKTHAL: He it is Who appointed the sun a splendour and the moon a light, and measured for her stages, that ye might know the number of the years, and the reckoning. Allah created not (all) that save in truth. He detaileth the revelations for people who have knowledge.
SHAKIR: He it is Who made the sun a shining brightness and the moon a light, and ordained for it mansions that you might know the computation of years and the reckoning. Allah did not create it but with truth; He makes the signs manifest for a people who
005.104
YUSUFALI: When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah hath revealed; come to the Messenger": They say: "Enough for us are the ways we found our fathers following." what! even though their fathers were void of knowledge and guidance?
PICKTHAL: And when it is said unto them: Come unto that which Allah hath revealed and unto the messenger, they say: Enough for us is that wherein we found our fathers. What! Even though their fathers had no knowledge whatsoever, and no guidance?
SHAKIR: And when it is said to them, Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger, they say: That on which we found our fathers is sufficient for us. What! even though their fathers knew nothing and did not follow the right way.
031.025
YUSUFALI: If thou ask them, who it is that created the heavens and the earth. They will certainly say, "Allah". Say: "Praise be to Allah!" But most of them understand not.
PICKTHAL: If thou shouldst ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth? they would answer: Allah. Say: Praise be to Allah! But most of them know not.
SHAKIR: And if you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will certainly say: Allah. Say: (All) praise is due to Allah; nay! most of them do not know.
034.028
YUSUFALI: We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not.
PICKTHAL: And We have not sent thee (O Muhammad) save as a bringer of good tidings and a warner unto all mankind; but most of mankind know not.
SHAKIR: And We have not sent you but to all the men as a bearer of good news and as a warner, but most men do not know.
040.057
YUSUFALI: Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: Yet most men understand not.
PICKTHAL: Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind; but most of mankind know not.
SHAKIR: Certainly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of the men, but most people do not know
044.038 - 39
YUSUFALI: We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, merely in (idle) play. : We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand.
PICKTHAL: And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not.
SHAKIR: And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport. We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know.

The way to God is so simple. Keeping in our minds the simple scientific facts in the universe; we will be directed to His Straight Path. This straight path is explained clearly in the Quran to those who know God’s Wisdom and not to those who are subjected to their animal’s desires and ignorance.
045.018
YUSUFALI: Then We put thee on the (right) Way of Religion: so follow thou that (Way), and follow not the desires of those who know not.
PICKTHAL: And now have We set thee (O Muhammad) on a clear road of (Our) commandment; so follow it, and follow not the whims of those who know not.
SHAKIR: Then We have made you follow a course in the affair, therefore follow it, and do not follow the low desires of those who do not know.
God recommends us to ask Him not more power or more wealth, but more science and knowledge:
020.114
YUSUFALI: High above all is Allah, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, "O my Lord! advance me in knowledge."
PICKTHAL: Then exalted be Allah, the True King! And hasten not (O Muhammad) with the Qur'an ere its revelation hath been perfected unto thee, and say: My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.
SHAKIR: Supremely exalted is therefore Allah, the King, the Truth, and do not make haste with the Quran before its revelation is made complete to you and say: O my Lord ! increase me in knowledge.
Who will get more knowledge; he will be able to liberate himself from the constraints of ignorance, desires and fears. He will get more trust in God and in himself that grants him the will to change any circumstances around him to a better situation. The history will remember him as a Great Man and not as an insect that destroyed the valuable treasure in his body and in such universe. He will recognize the value of his God, his soul and his life. He will not spend his life in vain. But He will use each moment to obey God, love him and love all His Creatures, build, sacrifice, develop, help, and construct culture. He will live in complete rest in the companion of God and his lovers. This is the role of his gifted soul.
002.245
YUSUFALI: Who is he that will loan to Allah a beautiful loan, which Allah will double unto his credit and multiply many times? It is Allah that giveth (you) Want or plenty, and to Him shall be your return.
PICKTHAL: Who is it that will lend unto Allah a goodly loan, so that He may give it increase manifold? Allah straiteneth and enlargeth. Unto Him ye will return.
SHAKIR: Who is it that will offer of Allah a goodly gift, so He will multiply it to him manifold, and Allah straitens and amplifies, and you shall be returned to Him.

022.041
YUSUFALI: (They are) those who, if We establish them in the land, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjoin the right and forbid wrong: with Allah rests the end (and decision) of (all) affairs.
PICKTHAL: Those who, if We give them power in the land, establish worship and pay the poor-due and enjoin kindness and forbid iniquity. And Allah's is the sequel of events.
SHAKIR: Those who, should We establish them in the land, will keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and enjoin good and forbid evil; and Allah's is the end of affairs.
042.038
YUSUFALI: Those who hearken to their Lord, and establish regular Prayer; who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation; who spend out of what We bestow on them for Sustenance;
PICKTHAL: And those who answer the call of their Lord and establish worship, and whose affairs are a matter of counsel, and who spend of what We have bestowed on them,
SHAKIR: And those who respond to their Lord and keep up prayer, and their rule is to take counsel among themselves, and who spend out of what We have given them.

On the other hand, those who did not recognize the value of their gifted treasure, they will live a cheap and valueless life.  They think the value of their bodies is just the value of the dust from which thei bodies are built and dust is the future of such bodies. Their objectives will be limited by their bodies or dust desires that fears hungry and death. They will suffer only the frightfulness and loneliness.  They may convince themselves by apparent happiness and pleasure that hide their dark heart and terror. God described such people as follows:
002.027
YUSUFALI: Those who break Allah's Covenant after it is ratified, and who sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth: These cause loss (only) to themselves.
PICKTHAL: Those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it, and sever that which Allah ordered to be joined, and (who) make mischief in the earth: Those are they who are the losers.
SHAKIR: Who break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and cut asunder what Allah has ordered to be joined, and make mischief in the land; these it is that are the losers.
013.025
YUSUFALI: But those who break the Covenant of Allah, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home!
PICKTHAL: And those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it, and sever that which Allah hath commanded should be joined, and make mischief in the earth: theirs is the curse and theirs the ill abode.
SHAKIR: And those who break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and cut asunder that which Allah has ordered to be joined and make mischief in the land; (as for) those, upon them shall be curse and they shall have the evil (issue) of the abode.
026.152
YUSUFALI: "Who make mischief in the land, and mend not (their ways)."
PICKTHAL: Who spread corruption in the earth, and reform not.
SHAKIR: Who make mischief in the land and do not act aright.
